Jerld "Jerry" McRoberts

Jerld "Jerry" McRoberts, 85, of Wilkinson, Indiana, passed away March 2, 2026, at his residence in Wilkinson, Indiana.

He was born on October 12, 1940, in Maysville, KY to John McRoberts and Lucille (Readnour) McRoberts.

Jerry graduated from New Salem High School in Rush Co., IN. He retired from Delco Remy in Anderson as an Inspector after several years.

Jerry was a member of the Wilkinson Church of Christ, enjoyed fishing, was an avid sports fan, and a 40 year member of the Markleville Masonic Lodge #629 F. & A. M., where he served as past Master.

Jerry is survived by his spouse, Wanda (Kinney) McRoberts of Wilkinson; three sisters, Janie (Steve) Ward of Henderson, IN, Cathy Richardson of Connersville, and Mary Jo McRoberts of KY; a son, Jim (Susan) McRoberts of Wilkinson, IN; two daughters, Lisa (Jerry) Badgley of Attica,IN and Kim (Joe) Tompkins of Anderson, IN; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Wanda Ann Palmer; and his granddaughter, Ashley McRoberts.

A funeral service will be held at the Wilkinson Church of Christ on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Jerry Badgley and Rev. Dan DeAngelo officiating, with burial to follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson, IN.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory-Condo Chapel, Wilkinson, IN. Masonic Rites will be performed by Markleville Masonic Lodge #629 F. & A. M. at 5:00 PM.
