Jeremiah "Jerry" Armington

Jeremiah "Jerry" Armington, 82, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away May 27, 2025, at Northview Health and Living in Anderson, following an extended illness.

He was born on October 17, 1942, in Anderson to Dr. Charles Armington and Mary (Mahoney) Armington. Jerry graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1960 and attended the University of Dayton. He had career as a real estate broker for 56 years and was the real estate director for Marsh's Village Pantry's. Jerry was a life-long member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was a proud Democrat, former Madison County Commissioner, and a member of Edgewood Country Club. He enjoyed playing golf and achieved not just one hole-in-one, but two!

Jerry is survived by sister, Mary Catherine "Katy" (Patrick) Cunningham; sister-in-law, Mary Armington; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Charles Armington Jr., Sarah Johnson, John Armington, Michael Armington, and Anne Decker Donaldson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 305 E. 11th Street, Anderson, IN 46016 on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 11:00 AM, with visitation taking place one hour before. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery.
