Jerald "Jay" K. Martz, born on February 10, 1960, in Anderson, Indiana, passed away on October 7, 2026, in Fairmount, Indiana. Jay was a true family man who loved life, his wife Jackie Martz, and enjoyed every moment spent with his children, grandchildren, and fur baby, Sissy.
Jay was a dedicated line worker at Firestone, and was Head of the union, where he put in hard work every day. He was known for his love of NASCAR, football (cheering on the Colts), and discussing the latest in politics.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Jackie; daughter, Chasity Martz; stepdaughter, Sianna Wilson (Jeff Alston); six grandchildren; and two and a half great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Byron and Patricia (Seybert) Martz, and his brother Paul "Buddy" Martz.
Private services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd Street Anderson, Indiana.
