Jennifer Diane McKinley

Jennifer Diane McKinley passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, September 19, 2025, at her residence in Anderson after a long battle with, Multiple Sclerosis.

She was born on January 13, 1988, in Anderson, Indiana to Michael and Lisa McKinley. She graduated from Lapel High School in 2006, and later received her certification as a QMA and CNA.

Jennifer was currently employed at Sugar Fork Crossing in Anderson as a QMA/CNA, where she loved taking care of her residents.

Jennifer was a free spirit, and a loving and accepting person who was willing help anyone. She was a wonderful caregiver to both humans and felines. She loved going to the lakes, traveling to Colorado, a nice bonfire, and concerts. The main focus and love of her life was her son, Jamison.

She is survived by her son, Jamison Jackson of Anderson; her parents, Michael (Sheri) McKinley of Indianapolis, Lisa (Mark Canaday) McKinley of Anderson; sister, Jessica (Hayden) Heeb of Lapel; nephew, Callum Heeb of Lapel; and her grandmother, Sarah Diane McKinley of Carmel.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Leroy McKinley; and her maternal grandparents, Donald and Betty Frazier.

A celebration of Jennifer's life will take place on Thursday, September 25, 2025, with visitation from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bozell Funeral Home and Crematory, Lapel Chapel, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051. A celebration of life will follow visitation at 6:00 at the funeral home.
