Jason Matthew Coles

Jason Matthew Coles, 46 of Anderson Indiana, passed away on December 22, 2022 at St. Vincent’s Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born June 30, 1976 to James (Jimmy) F. Coles, Sr. and Janice K. Dyroff.

He attended Highland High School and worked in the Hopewell Center workshop for many years. Jason also attended Friendship Bible Study at Fall Creek Christian Church.

Jason loved Michael Jordan, The Lion King, Country Music Television, Reba McIntyre, eating pizza and Bob Evans.  Jason enjoyed singing and attending music therapy at Plainsong Music Therapy.

Survivors include his sisters, Nila (Joe) Neblett, Sherry (Conrad) Hobby, and Barbara Coles all of Indianapolis and a brother David (Sherry) Starr.

His Guardian, Wendy (Charles) Malone, roommates and longtime friends, Randy and Gary.

Special friends, Demetrius Malone and Shanna Arnold and also special caretakers, Molly Greer and Lori Taylor.  Also surviving Jason are many nieces, nephews, caretakers, and friends.

Jason was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Daniel (Danny) Starr, Jimmy Coles, Jr. and Brian Coles.

Services will be Saturday, December 31^st, 2022 at 12 p.m. at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53^rd St., Anderson, 46013. The visitation will be one hour prior, from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. at the funeral home.
