Janet "Jan" Marcia Rager

Janet “Jan” Marcia Rager, 88, of Pendleton, passed away July 1, 2024 at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson Hospital.

Jan was born January 22, 1936 in Anderson, Indiana and lived in Pendleton most of her life.

She retired as a secretary for engineers at GM Guide Division in 1992 following 30 years of service. 

Jan was a 1954 graduate of Pendleton High School and attended Ball State University. She was a member of Fall Creek Christian Church in Pendleton and enjoyed decorating, sewing and gardening.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan D. Pressel; and special friends, Nathan and Sandy and David and Pat.

Jan was preceded in death by her husband, John “Jack” D. Rager; parents, Smithson and Irene (Jenkins) Davis; and brothers, Ronald Davis and Keith Davis.

Services will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, July 10,2024 at Bozell Funeral Homes- Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation from 1 to 3 p.m., Wednesday at Lahm Chapel, Pendleton.
