Jane Ann McDuffee

Jane Ann McDuffee, 96, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026, at The Waters of Middletown. Born on August 22, 1929, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Jane was a loving daughter of the late Carl and Betty (Plough) Humke.

Jane married the love of her life, John McDuffee, and together they shared countless cherished moments. A proud graduate of Markleville High School, Jane dedicated a few early years of her life working as a clerk at the Treasurers Office. She was also a devoted homemaker to her family. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was a member of the Whetstone Christian Church. But most of all family meant everything to Jane, and she took immense joy in her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. 

Jane is survived by her daughter, Erin (Dana) Parrish; grandchildren, Kelly (Matthew) Minnich and Jeffrey Parrish; and great-grandchildren, Gracie and Charlotte Minnich; sister, Becky Peterson; cousin, David (Mary) Plough; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John who passed away in 2018; her parents; and her sisters, Gloria Baker, Carolyn Carlisle, and Beverly Browning.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 East 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana 46013. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
