James "Harold" Vibbert

James "Harold" Vibbert, 84, born in Burkesville, KY, was a resident of Pendleton, passed away on October 30, 2026.

He worked at Ford Motor Company for 44 years. He enjoyed horseback riding, being outdoors, watching his westerns and wrestling, and enjoyed his tropical birds.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Barbara; daughter, Kelly (Dave) Kirchner; son, Jamey (Nicki) Vibbert; grandchildren, Stephen, Jeremy, Devon (Sara) Humphries, Breanna, Cody (Haley), Kaylee, Corbin Vibbert; great grandchildren, Hallie Humphries, Graysen Humphries, Khalil Anderson, Kingston Anderson, Nora Vibbert, and Cooper Vibbert; and a niece, many nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, James and Agnes Vibbert, and sister Bonnie Vibbert.

A funeral service will be held at 12:15 PM on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 East State Street, Pendleton, Indiana 46064 with Rev. Paul Bishop officiating. A Masonic service will be held at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, November 4, 2026 prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Grove Lawn Cemetery in Pendleton, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at the funeral home.
