James Robert Sandlin

James Sandlin, 36, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away November 15, 2024, at his residence. He was born on June 12, 1988, in Anderson to David & Cheryl (McClelland) Sandlin. James worked in housekeeping with Hotel services.

He enjoyed watching wrestling, listening to music with his dad and loved dancing. James was always happy and had a heart of gold. He especially loved his family.

James is survived by his parents; girlfriend, Tamar Jones; brothers, Joseph Sandlin and John & Reynald Sandlin; best friend/like a brother, Gary Hendrickson; family friends, Krystal Padgett & Kylie Bryant; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Melvin Robert & Betty Jean Sandlin; and maternal grandparents, Juldene Sue & Lundy Ray McClelland.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Bozell Funeral Homes, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:00 am-12:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will take place on Monday, November 25, 2024 at 10:00 am at Maplewood Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Madison County SPCA Humane Society.
