Mr. James P. Weaver

James P. Weaver, Sr., 60, of Anderson, IN passed away after an extended illness on November 27, 2021. James was born on June 2, 1961 to Morris and Barbara Ruth (Dollar) Weaver. He worked as a Taxi Driver and Dispatcher for a number of years in Anderson. His children described him as strong and one of the toughest people they have ever known. People were drawn to him and he could brighten any room with his fun personality and his jokes. The people closest to him, called him “Pops” and they will miss him dearly. James will be dearly missed by his sons, James (Sarah) Weaver, Jr., Matthew Weaver, and Christopher Weaver; his 1 grandchild, Fiona Weaver; and his brother, Morris (Tammy) Weaver, Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bob Weaver. A Celebration of Life will be at 2 pm Thursday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will be held an hour prior to services at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded.
