Mr. James Edward Short

James E. Short, 65, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Countryside Manor in Anderson. He was born March 24, 1955 in Anderson to Jim R. & Lorrena (Stohler) Short. James loved horses and enjoyed horseback riding in Brown County. He also loved gardening and attending to flowers. He had been a past member at both Jackson Park Church of God & Main Street Church of God. James is survived by his parents; siblings, Jackie (husband, Wade) Boils of New Castle & Johnny R. Short of Anderson; nieces & nephews, Joshua, Johnny Jr., Crystal, & Wade Jr.; and several great nieces & nephews. Services will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, June 27, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, with visitation from Noon until time of services. Burial will be at Pleasant Walk Cemetery.
