It is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jacob Braziel, Jr.

Jacob entered into his eternal rest on May 8th, 2026, at the age of 73 at St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson, Indiana, surrounded by the thoughts and prayers of those who loved him.

Jacob was born in San Antonio, TX on February 28, 1953 to the late Jacob Braziel, Sr. and Ella Mae (Williams) Braziel. Jacob served in the US Navy in 1973. Jacob enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping with his family. If he wasn't outdoors he could be found coaching baseball or softball, or some place working on a car. Jacob enjoyed spending time with his numerous children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Jacob enjoyed country music which fueled his love for playing the guitar. He was filled with courage, bravery, built with a no nonsense personality and sense of humor like no other which brought light to people's lifes. Jacob found a home at the Gospel Mission church in Pasco, WA where he strengthened his love for the Lord.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Horace Gary Braziel, Raymond Braziel; sisters, Geraldine Braziel Sanchez and Audrie Hargrow; and his niece Nicole Braziel.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Jason McBride, Maelene Braziel, Charletta Martinez, Shannon Graves, Peggy Braziel, Javon Ixchiu, Kathleen Braziel, and Jackalynn Braziel; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Ellie Schacher; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Jacob’s services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory- Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel.
