Jack Allen Presslor

Jack Allen Presslor, 64, of Lapel, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at his home in Lapel, following a sudden medical event. 

He was born on January 16, 1962, in Indianapolis, Indiana to William and Arthena (Smoot) Presslor. He was a graduate of Thomas Howe High School. He retired from Citizens Energy Group.

On August 12, 1983, Jack married his high school sweetheart whom he had dated since she was 15, Diane Marie Haganman. The loves of his life were his daughters and grandchildren. He would do anything in the world for them.

He was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed fixing things. He was a phenomenal cook and loved to cook for his family. He enjoyed going to the "Hill Lake" with his family and friends. He loved to fish. He was avid car enthusiast, working on them and "tinkering" with them. He was a really big helper and was everyone's go-to. He enjoyed helping people and being there for others.

Jack is survived by his wife, Diane Marie (Haganman) Presslor; two daughters, Brittany Presslor and Brandy (husband, Brad) Forrer; two grandchildren, Georgia and Milly; his father, William Presslor; two brothers, Justin Presslor and Jay (wife, Brenda) Presslor; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Millie Haganman; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Arthena (Smoot) Presslor; a sister, Tena Connell; and two brothers, Joe Presslor and Joshua Presslor. A moment of sharing will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lapel Chapel, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051. Cremation will take place. 

Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
