Jack Lewis McCormack

Jackie "Jack" Lewis McCormack, 91, of Anderson, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus. Jack was born on September 10, 1933 in Anderson to the late Wallace and Pearl (Leakey) McCormack. Jack worked for State Farm Insurance as a claim's adjuster for a number of years before his retirement. Jack enjoyed working with his hands and was an excellent wood worker. He loved jigsaw puzzles, hummingbirds, gardening, and visiting Mounds State Park.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Susan (Tom) Foist and Doug (Katie) McCormack; grandchildren, Sarah Foist, Rachel Foist, Tommy Foist, Cassandra McCormack, Alicia McCormack, and Sean McCormack; great-grandchildren, Parker, Elaina, Elijah, Sophia, and Jacob; and nieces, Connie, Linda, and Patty.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Betty and Margaret; and brother, Buck.

His graveside service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at East Maplewood Cemetery, 200 College Drive, Anderson, IN 46012.

Jack's services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes- Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel.
