Irmgard M. Dix

Irmgard Magdalena Dix, 81, of Anderson passed away on August 13, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Irmgard was born on March 14, 1945 in Wurzburg, Germany to the late Carl Adam and Annarosea Heil. She married the love of her life, Leslie Albert Dix, and the two were married for many years. 

Irmgard loved to cook and share her meals with friends and family to enjoy. Most importantly, Irmgard loved her family and spending time with them every chance she got. 

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Andrea Marlette, Roy (Sherry) Dix, and Susanne (Butch) Stanley; her sister; Olga Priester; her grandchildren, Brittany Smith, Aaron Pine, Amanda Newton, Kylie Marlette, Joseph Stanley, Adam Marlette, Christina Stanley, James Dix, and Justin Dix; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three great-grandchildren, Marleigh Newton, Adrianne Marlette, and Soul Dix; and great-great-grandson, Josiah Stanley.
