Ms. Ilarose Cupp

Ilarose Cupp, 97, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018, in Greenfield. She was born June 22, 1920, in Straughn to the late Raymond & Grace (Hudleson) Jones. Ilarose graduated from Knightstown High School in 1938 and was a resident of Shirley for over 70 years. She retired in 1982 from Kellum-Mench Insurance Agency as an office manager. Ilarose was a member of the DAR. As an avid reader she was also a member of the Lilac Literary Club. She was a member of the Christ Fellowship Church. Ilarose was a strong believer in Christ as her Savior and who was a loving Christian example. She is survived by her son, Robert (wife, Judy) Cupp of Greensburg; grandchildren, Andrew (wife, Tonya) Cupp, Morgan Cupp, and Ryan (wife, Heather) Cupp; great grandchildren, Helena, Ethan, & Nora Cupp; sister, Margaret Smith of Greenfield; daughter-in-law, Patricia Cupp; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Leonard Cupp; son, Mike Cupp; brother, Robert Jones; sisters, Miriam Proctor & Ruth Goodwin. Services will be at Noon Saturday, April 14, at Christ Fellowship Church, 4833 IN-109, Knightstown, with Pastor Bill Roberts officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 until the time of services, at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Christ Fellowship Church.
