Herbert 'Buck' Hobbs Jr.

Herbert "Buck" Hobbs Jr., 67, of Shirley, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following a brief illness.He was born May 22, 1954, in Virginia to Herbert Hobbs Sr. and Ruth (Wells) Hobbs .Herb graduated from Lapel High School.He retired from Keihin Manufacturing.Herb enjoyed the outdoors, he loved to fish, hunt, and garden.He is survived by son Chris (Colaina) Hobbs of Lapel; his mother Ruth (Wells) Hobbs of Lapel; grandchildren, Tyler, Alexis, and Christopher Hobbs; siblings, Sharron (Estes) Boles of Lapel, Shirley (Rich) Ligman of Lapel, Glenn (Marla) Hobbs of Anderson, and Randy Hobbs of Anderson; special friend, Virginia Moreland of Shirley. He was also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.Herbert was preceded in death by his father, and a brother Billy Joe Hobbs.Cremation was chosen and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.Online condolences: www.hersbergerbozell.com
