Helen Boles

Helen M. Boles, 91, formerly of Anderson, passed away December 12, 2015, in Indianapolis.

She was born November 29, 1924 in New Castle, to the late Clarence & Mae (McClurg) Moore. She had worked at Delco Remy & Guide Lamp, then owned & operated her own beauty shop.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Billie Boles; brothers, Herman & Bobby Moore; and son-in-law, Frank Amos.

She is survived by two daughters, Dianna Boles Amos, and Carolyn (husband, Wendell) Boles Shryock; sister, Delores (life partner, Harmon Cantrell) Howard; grandchildren, Ted Sheets, Frank (wife, Michele) Amos, Kim Amos, Ren� (husband, Chris) Lewis & Rhonda (husband, Larry) Crickenberger; several great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Visitation will be 11-1 p.m. at the funeral home prior to services.
