Heidi Renate Hollingsworth, 68, of Shirley, Indiana, passed away on March 23, 2026. Born on September 2, 1957, in Kleinostheim, Germany, she brought joy and warmth to everyone around her. Heidi was married to her loving husband, Donald Hollingsworth, and together they shared many cherished moments.

Heidi was a woman of simple pleasures. She loved swimming with her daughter, playing poker, and simply enjoying the view of the woods from her kitchen, where she could watch a family of deer come and go. She had a soft spot for hummingbirds, enjoying moments as they visited her feeder, and grilling out with her family.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Donald Hollingsworth; daughter, Renate (Brian) Boils; brothers, Klaus (Sylivia) Mayer and Ralf (Christiane) Mayer; step-sisters Brigitte Streitwein and Soni VH; grandchildren Anthony Gregory Boils and Zachary Jacob (Kaylyn) Boils, great-grandchildren Carmen Marie Boils, Adaline Jaydah Boils, Maddex Hazel Boils, Jacob Michael Boils, and Joseph Brian King Boils; nephews, Robert Carlyle, Edward Carlyle, and Joachim Mayer; niece, Saskia Mayer; great-niece, Mia Holein; cousins, Wolfgang Muller and Darlene A. Reid-Yepko; mother-in-law, Karen Hollingsworth; brother-in-law, Chris Hollingsworth; aunt, Marianne Streitwieser; and very special friends, Ingrid Christman and Mary Ellen (Jim) Beckham. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Benno and Anna Marie Mayer, as well as her sisters Erika (Ed) Carlyle and Lisa Lotti Mayer, and brother Karl Bakonia.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted by Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel.
