Haskell C. Counts

Haskell C. Counts, 84, recently of Sarasota, FL, passed away after an extended illness. After retiring from the Post Office, he spent his time volunteering. These organizations included: St. John’s Hospital, Merchants Older Buddies, Habitat, Paramount Theatre, Red Cross, VA, Harter House, and First United Methodist Church. He is survived by a daughter, Kelly Hornback of Sarasota; son, James Counts of Mesa, AZ. Two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Patty. A private service will be held November 9th at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Anderson First United Methodist Church or Habitat for Humanity.
