Harvey Smith Jarrett

Harvey S. Jarrett, 70, of Wilkinson passed away Monday, September 2, 2019 at Hancock Regional Hospital following a brief illness. He was born June 13, 1949 in Anderson, the son of the late, Joseph and Eula (Bradford) Jarrett. Harvey retired as a Fork Truck Driver from Guide Lamp at Anderson in 2000 after 30 years of service, and was a member of the Blue River Gun Club. He loved hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. Harvey is survived by his wife, Mary M. Jarrett of Wilkinson, children; Amy (Bruce) Stephens of Charlottesville; Debra (Jerry) Carnes of New Palestine; James (Kim) Jarrett of Wilkinson; Steven (Mashawn) Evans of Greenfield, eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Jarrett; and sister, Brenda Bear. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Condo & St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
