PENDLETON- Harrold Jack “Harry” Hopper, Jr., 77, of Pendleton, Indiana passed away, September 13, 2026, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield, Indiana.
Harry was born July 24, 1949 in Fort Knox, Kentucky to the late Harrold Jack and Viola (Caudill) Hopper, Sr.
He was a US Army veteran and retired as Chief of Medical Administration from the US Department of Veterans Affairs.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Carolyn Sue (Harless) Hopper.
Survivors include his children, Charles (Erin) Hopper, Tiffany Grizanti, Cindy (Hopper) Wallace and Edward “EJ” (Monica) Hopper; grandchildren, David Hopper, Christopher Hopper, Amanda Powers, Jesse Morris, Kaitlyn Willis, Justin Wallace, Devon Wallace, Carolyn Robertson, Minnie Hopper, Lincoln Hopper, Magnus Hopper, and Lux Hopper; great grandchildren, Peyton, Alex, Chloe, Brock, Peyton and Sophia; siblings, Susie Binder, Peggy Stuhlmiller, and Art Hopper; several nieces and nephews.
Harry loved the beach, surf fishing, golf, and playful banter. He was an ice cream connoisseur and appreciated playing card and dice games with his friends and family.
A private celebration of Harry’s life will be held later in Melbourne, Florida.
Arrangements entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton, Indiana.
