Guido Calvin Speedy

Guido C. Speedy, 95, passed away at his Anderson residence. He was born in Anderson and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from General Motors after 47 years. Guido is survived by his son, Brian Speedy; grandchildren, Cody Speedy, Michael Rochford, Jr, & Megan Rochford; and son-in-law, Joseph Ciolli. He was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Barbara (Mears) Speedy; daughter, Terri Ciolli; brother, Robert Speedy; and sister, Betty Thompson. Services will be at 1pm Saturday, July 10 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, with Pastor Dennis Zirkle officiating. Burial will be at East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 am until the time of services.
