Georgia B. Barcus

Georgia B. Barcus, 77, Lapel, passed away Tuesday April 22, 2003, at Alexandria Care Center following a extended illness. She was born on August 29, 1925, in Indianapolis to Albert and Cleo (Leonard) Barcus. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel. She is survived by one brother, Mark (wife, Ida) Barcus of Pendleton, IN; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters Eleanor M. Barcus and LaVera McClintick Pike; and three brothers, Edward L. Barcus, William F. Barcus, and John D. Barcus. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Arcadia with Pastor Dawn Cuthbert officiating. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 606, Lapel, Indiana 46051-0606. Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, Lapel, is handling the arrangements.
