Georgenia R. Dudley

Georgenia R. Dudley, 98, passed away Friday, December 4, 2020. She was born December 23, 1921 in Elwood to the late Arthur & Ida (Welling) Dudley. She was a graduate of Anderson High School. Georgenia worked for Delco-Remy for almost 35 years, having retired in 1975. She was a member of Cross Roads United Methodist Church, formerly Park Place United Methodist Church. She is survived by her niece, Barbara Dudley; great nephew, Rick Aker; several other great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Enda Rose Buckler, Beatrice Doan, Arthur T. Dudley, John W. Dudley, & Dr. Wilfred Dudley. Services will be at 2 pm Friday, December 18 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, with Pastor Rick Jones officiating. Burial will be at East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Due to recent COVID-19 mandates, all guests are required to wear face masks and practice social distancing.
