Mr. Gene E. Carrier

Gene E. Carrier, 56, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021. He was born February 5, 1965, in Beech Grove to the late Ray & Evelyn “Rosie” (Smith) Carrier. Gene worked for F. E. Harding Asphalt company at a dump truck operator. He had previously worked for various car dealerships in the parts department. He loved cars, racing, cheering on the Colts, and working on DIY projects around his home. Gene is survived by his wife of 34 years, Tracey (Dreier) Carrier; daughter & son-in-law, Mallory & Derek Masters; grandchildren, Gwen, Kenzy, & Ryder Masters; siblings, Penny Carrier, Arlis Carrier, & Kelley Clearwaters; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Carrier. The family would like to extend the utmost gratitude toward the staff in ICU at IU Health Ball Memorial, for the care they gave to Gene throughout his illness. Memorial Services will be conducted at 4:00 pm Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will from 2 pm until time of the services at the funeral home.
