Frieda Williams, 94, passed away on Wednesday October 21, 2026 at the Alexandria Care Center. She was born on August 5, 1932 in Louisville, Kentucky to Marro Johnson and Nola (Denham) Carter.
Frieda graduated from Lapel High School and worked in Medical Records at St. John's Hospital.
She is survived by her children, Richard (Cindy) Williams and Deborah Jane Williams.
Frieda is preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Daniel Boone Carter.
A private burial will take place at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel.
Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel has been entrusted wtih Frieda's services.
