F Dean Presser

F. Dean Presser, 73, Lapel, passed away Friday, February 10, 2006, at his residence following a two year illness.
He was born on December 9, 1932, in Lapel, Indiana to Ralph and Linnie (Stottlemyer) Presser. He was a U. S. Army veteran and retired in 1992 from Delco Remy after over 42 years of employment.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Herron) Presser; two children, Joanne (husband, Kyle) Trimble of Lapel, and Jay Presser of Lapel; three granddaughters, Sabra Presser, Summer Presser, and Kylie Trimble; a niece, Lynn King of Alexandria; and a nephew, Robert Chaney of Carmel. He was preceded in death by a son, James D. Presser in 1986. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Jerry Snyder officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Center or Dove Harbor.
