Eric Roger Welker Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eric Roger Welker Jr., 53, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away on September 14, 2026. Born on May 24, 1973, in Anderson to the late Eric Welker Sr. and Portia (Fetty) Welker.

Eric was someone who truly knew how to enjoy life. He had a passion for music, especially rap, and loved sharing that joy with family and friends.

Eric is survived by his children, Taylor Welker Brumley, Dylan Kent, Blake Kent, and Kailey Kent; his siblings, Thomas Welker, Timothy (Bonnie) Welker, Jannesa Turner Jones Welker, and Sean Welker, as well as three wonderful grandchildren and his wife, Tina Gift. 

Eric was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Michael Welker.

 Arrangements have been entrusted with Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN, 46013.
