Ms. Elizabeth “Betsy” Hyde

Elizabeth “Betsy” Hyde, 84, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020. She was born July 22, 1936, in Brooklyn, New York to the late William R. & Margaret (Binkley) DuVernet. Betsy was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, a member of the YMCA Board of Directors, and volunteered with CASA for a number of years. She is survived by her children, Heather (husband, Kenneth) Jennings of Pittsburgh, PA, William “Bill” Hyde of Fishers, IN, and Matthew (wife, Nicole) Hyde of CA; sister, Margaret “Peggy” Byrnes; brothers, Robert & Richard DuVernet; grandchildren, Conor, Lauren, Lindsey, & Christina; and great grandchildren, Avery & Judah. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 year, Stanley Hyde. Private services were entrusted to Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
