Eleanor Susie Masters

Greenfield – Eleanor “Susie” Masters, 90, passed away on Wednesday June 30, 2021 at the Greenfield Healthcare Center. Susie was born on September 6, 1930 in Anderson, IN. She was a graduate of Wilkinson High School, and attended beauty school. Once Susie became a beautician, she helped mentor other beauticians through and after their education. Susie was also a cook for Eastern Hancock High School. Susie was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star (O.E.S.) Chapter #116, where she served as past president of the 12th District. She was also a very proud homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and an exceptional pie baker. Susie is survived by her children: Geanell Shores, Greg (Sandy) Masters, Gary (Cindi) Masters and Grant (Lavida) Masters; eleven grandchildren; several great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; nephew, John Masters. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Nellie (Whisler) Sparks and husband, Elmer Masters. There will be a graveside service at 1:00 PM on Tuesday July 6, 2021 at McCray Cemetery to celebrate Susie’s life. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service at Condo & St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory in Wilkinson.
