Douglas Randal "Randy" Gibbs

Douglas Randall "Randy" Gibbs, 79, of Lapel, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following a brief illness. 

He was born on April 11, 1946, in Sheridan, Indiana to Harold Macy and Mary Katherine Gibbs. He was a 1964 graduate of Lapel High School. He served his country proudly in the United States Army. He retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors in Anderson after 30 years of employment. 

Randy was a volunteer firefighter and EMT. He was an avid car collector. He loved spending the winters in Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Bobbie Love. 

Cremation will take place. A celebration of Randy's life will be held at a later date
