Dorothy Sue Harris

Dorothy Sue Harris, 73, Lapel, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville following an extended illness.
She was born on July 14, 1935, in Vigo County, Indiana to John and Bessie (Hunt) Mullins.
Dorothy Sue was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother her family meant the world to her. She was a member of the Chesterfield Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by four daughters, Maggie (husband, Jim) Prince of Indianapolis, Sandra Sue Harris of Gaston; Suzanne Harris of Lapel, and Billie (husband, Mike) Miller of Anderson; one sister, Ann (husband, Dave) Powers of Farmersburg; four grandchildren, Jennifer Prince, Monica Prince, Stephanie Miller, and Brady Miller; and six great-grandchildren, Carissa Bellew, Mike Sauer, Alex Barnes, Gabby Prince, Logan Prince, and Zoee Prince.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William D. Harris, Jr.; a brother, Bill Hunt; and sisters.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, October 3, 2008, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Pastor Doug Barton officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, October 2, 2008, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
