Donna May Ambrose

Donna May Ambrose, 86, Vista, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014, at Vista Village in Vista following a brief illness. She was born on December 2, 1927, in Madison County, Indiana to Rollie and Nola (Hoover) White. She graduated from Lapel High School and was a member of the Fishersburg Wesleyan Church. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Joe Ambrose; three children, Joe (wife, Eileen) Ambrose of Salt Lake City, UT, Rollie Ambrose of Capistrano Beach, CA, and Evelyn Jayne Ambrose Thobois (husband, Paul) of Oceanside, CA; and one grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Glen White and a sister, Wilma Snyder. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel with Rev. Jerry Snyder officiating burial will follow. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
