Donna J. Florea

Donna J. Florea, 84, of Wilkinson, Indiana, who passed away peacefully on May 18, 2026, at Hancock Regional Hospital. Born on June 5, 1941, in Kennard, Indiana, to the late Howard and Eathel (Elliott) McClarnon, Donna was a proud graduate of Wilkinson High School's Class of 1959.

For 25 years, Donna dedicated her career as the Treasurer at Eastern Hancock School Corporation, where her commitment to education touched the lives of many students and staff. Beyond her work, Donna had a passion for music, especially playing the piano, a gift she shared with family and friends. She loved diving into a good book, tending to her beautiful flower beds, and when she was younger she enjoyed traveling. She had a soft spot for adventures out on the boat and was an lover of her pets, especially her faithful dog, Lula Bell Carolina.

Donna leaves behind her beloved daughter, Edie (Doug) Lawyer, and son, Rob (Vicky) Florea; grandchildren, Ashley (Thomas) Strasser and Tyler (Kaitlyn Lindsey) Lawyer, and three great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy. She is preceded in death by her parents, and granddaughter, Emily Hastings.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Condo Chapel, 130 South Main Street, Wilkinson, Indiana 46186. 

A visitation will be held prior from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
