Donald Wirtjes

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Donald Albert Wirtjes, who passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on October 29, 2025, at his home in Ingalls, Indiana. Born on February 17, 1942, in Morris, Minnesota, Donald was a beloved husband and friend.

Donald was married to his wonderful wife, Peggy (Owen) Wirtjes, who will forever cherish their time together.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Viola Wirtjes, his daughter and his siblings, including one brother and two sisters.

Donald will be missed dearly, but his legacy of love will continue to shine in the hearts of those who knew him. Rest in peace, Donald.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Donald's services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory - Lahm Chapel.
