Mr. Donald Junior Peters

Donald Junior Peters, 83, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020. He was born March 1, 1937, in Missouri to the late, Myron & Emma Souders) Peters. Donald retired from General Motors after working 34 years as a millwright. He attended Anderson First Church of the Nazarene. In his spare time he loved fishing and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Marcia (Robinson) Peters; children, Lynne Amonett, Liz Taflinger, & Jane Haney; stepchildren, Aaron Schoonover, Benjamin Schoonover, & Renee Parker; brother, Harold (wife, Vera) Peters; 16 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and 16 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter, Donna Peters; and several siblings. Memorial Services will be at 2 pm Thursday, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, with Pastor Gary Cable officiating. Visitation will be from 1 pm until time of services at the funeral home.
