Dolores Virginia Roby

Dolores Virginia Roby, 96, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away peacefully at Vermillion Place on August 21, 2025. Born on April 26, 1929, in Alexandria, Indiana, to Arthur Rickard and Denzil Clendenen, Dolores was a loving wife to her late husband, Russell Roby.

 Dolores had a zest for life, and her days were filled with simple joys - walking in the fresh air, camping adventures, and crafting beautiful ceramics. She had an eye for decorating and a heart full of Christmas spirit. Above all, she cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dolores is survived by her sons, Dale (Carol) Roby and Steven (Denise) Roby, along with five beloved grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her son Michael Roby, and a brother.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Bozell Funeral Homes, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, located at 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, in honor of her legacy.
