Dixie Lee Ebrite

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dixie Lee Ebrite, who departed this life on March 23, 2026, after a long illness. Born on January 16, 1943, in Anderson, Indiana, to Aaron and Madeline (O'Neil) Leasure, Dixie was a light in the lives of all who knew her.

Dixie married the love of her life, William Thomas "Tom" Ebrite, and they cherished 62 wonderful years together, creating a legacy of love that will be remembered by many. Throughout her life, Dixie was known for her infectious smile and delightful sense of humor, brightening the days of those fortunate enough to cross her path.

Professionally, Dixie contributed her talents through various office roles, with the majority of her career spent at Wearly Monuments. Beyond her work, she was an accomplished seamstress and had a passion for collecting antique dolls.

Dixie will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Tom; special friend and cousin, Kip Heineman; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Her spirit and warmth will continue to inspire us.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
