Diane Lawther

Diane Lawther, 82, of Anderson, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at her home following an extended illness.

She was born on June 14, 1943, in Anderson, Indiana. She was a graduate of Lapel High School.

She retired from Lapel Community Schools as a bus driver. She was the Stony Creek Township Trustee for several years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Diane is survived by two sons, Michael (wife, Donna) Lawther of Lapel and Scott Lawther of Tennessee; two granddaughters, Baylee (husband, Brian) Robertson of Lapel and Amanda (husband, Landon) Paddock of Lapel; and seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kathleen Brown of Anderson and Coleen (husband, Bob) Julian of Westfield.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edward Lawther and her parents.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Brookside Cemetery, 2900 Brookside Drive, Lapel Indiana 46051 with Pastor Hank White officiating.

Services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1010 N. Main St. Lapel, Indiana 46051.
