Dennis Ray “Dino” Carpenter

Dennis “Dino” Ray Carpenter, 71, went to be with our Heavenly Father on August 7^th, 2023. Dennis was loved by his family and friends and will be deeply missed.

Dennis was a devoted husband to Nancy (Walters) Carpenter who he loved and cherished. He was a loving father to his daughter, Angela Carpenter. He absolutely loved and adored his grandson, Bryant Wire. Dennis loved his sisters and best friend, Jeanie (Gloria) Carpenter and Patty Williams. Dennis has several nieces, nephews, and extended family, the Walters and Knoblochs. His love for his family and the cherished times they spent together will never be forgotten.

Born and raised in Anderson, Indiana, Dennis graduated from Anderson High School in 1970. After dedicating many years to his job, Dennis retired from Delco Remy in August of 1997. He was cherished by all who knew him and his memory will forever live on in their hearts.

Dennis is now reunited with his parents, Lida Jean (Carter) Carpenter and Jess Carpenter; his loving in-laws, Kate and Eugene Knobloch; and his sister-in-law, Pam Hagan.

In our hearts, Dennis will forever remain. His love and legacy shining bright. May he rest in eternal peace, leaving behind the cherished memories of a love that will never be forgotten.

The viewing will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, August 11, 2023 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53^rd St., Anderson 46013. The funeral ceremony will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that all donations be made to Turn Away No Longer.
