Delores D. Morgan

Delores D. Morgan, 83, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026, at her home in Noblesville following an extended illness. 

She was born on January 25, 1943, in Anderson, Indiana to Joseph Harold and Helen J. (Sokolich) Delaplane. She was a graduate of Walnut Grove High School. She had worked at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville as a bookkeeper. 

She was a member of Green Valley Church of Christ in Noblesville. She was a former member of the Noblesville Moose Lodge #540,. She love to vacation. She adored her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved her pets.

Delores is survived by her two sons, Ray (wife, Cheryl) Thompson of Noblesville and David (wife, LaDonna) Thompson of Noblesville; three stepsons, Jeff (wife, Shari) Morgan, Mike Morgan and Doyle Morgan; a sister, Pat Delaplane; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, Austin Lee Morgan; her son, Paul Thompson; her parents; and four brothers, John Delaplane, Donald Delaplane, Robert Delaplane and Richard Delaplane. 

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lapel Chapel, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051 with Pastor Tim Becker officiating. Burial will follow at Perkinsville Cemetery in Perkinsville. 

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
