David Alan Calvert

David Alan Calvert, 76, of Middletown, Indiana passed away peacefully at the home of his sister, Debra.

Dave was born September 29, 1949, the son of Robert Lewis and Deloris Evelyn (Harris) Calvert of Wilkinson.

He graduated from Eastern Hancock High School. After serving in the United States Army, Dave was employed by Delco Remy of GM until his retirement.

Dave was preceded in death by his grandparents Omer and Mabel Harris, Roscoe and Gladys Calvert, parents and his brother Michael Calvert.

He is survived by his brother Louis (Cecilia) Calvert, his sister Debra (Tony) Renfro, and several nieces and nephews.

Dave enjoyed fishing, cars, off-roading, and reading history.

A graveside service and burial including military honors will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, September 5, 2026 in McCray Cemetery, Wilkinson, Indiana.
