Darlene Elizabeth Parry

Darlene Elizabeth Parry, 60, of Pendleton, Indiana passed away on September 11, 2026 at Community Hospital of Anderson.

She was born on June 14, 1966 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Wayne Garner, Sr. and Myrtie (Ford) Garner.

Darlene married Bob Parry in 1996, and they enjoyed thirty wonderful years married together. Although they were married thirty years, they knew each other much longer and were around each other almost Darlene's entire life.

She worked as a cosmetologist and also at a beauty supplies store in Anderson. She enjoyed being involved at the Pendleton American Legion Auxiliary as a chaplain and historian. Darlene also enjoyed riding around in her Jeep with the top off.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Robert Parry; Mother, Myrtie Garner; Son, Sean Parry; Daughter, Samantha Parry; Sister, Jenny (spouse, Todd) Atkins; Grandsons, Jayden and Elijah Fitzpatrick. Darlene is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Wayne Garner, Sr. and Brother, Wayne Garner, Jr.

A celebration of life will take place on October 17, 2026 from 5:00pm - 9:00pm at the Pendleton American Legion. Cremation will take place at Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory.
