In Loving Memory of Daniel W. Jobes

Dan Jobes left this world on June 10, 2026, undoubtedly headed for a golf course with perfectly manicured greens or his home swimming pool, basking in the sun on long summer days. He spent his life doing what he loved most: making memories with friends and family, enjoying rounds of golf, and spending time at home with his wife of 44 years, Sheri Jobes, and their many dogs, past and present.

A successful salesman and Army Veteran, Dan was intentional about building a life to entertain friends and family for many years. People were drawn to Dan. His warm smile and quiet, steady presence were welcoming to all. Though he loved to party and share in the occasional story, he also loved to just surround himself with people and enjoy the activity around him. He understood that life wasn't about rushing through it; it's about savoring the ride and appreciating the people beside you. Dan lived this way until the very end. After living with melanoma for 5 years, he departed on a warm summer day, surrounded by family, music, joy, laughter, acceptance, and yes, many tears.

Dan is survived by his beloved wife, Sheri Jobes. He was a father to five children: Michelle Weaver, Teresa (Aaron) Hayes, Michelle (Troy) Olsen, Jeff (Tonya) Wright, and Shawn (Jessica) Wright. He was also the loving grandfather of 12 and the great-grandfather of 4 children.

A celebration of life will be held on July 25, 2026, at the family home.

Cremation rites were conducted at Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory.
