Dana A. Hood

Dana A. Hood, 56, of Wilkinson, passed away July 22, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born April 3, 1962 in Indianapolis and was a Wilkinson resident for 20 years and a former Shirley resident. Dana was a 1980 graduate of Decatur Central High School. She enjoyed gardening and reading. Survivors include her fiance, Chris Maxwell of Wilkinson; daughter, Casondra Hood of Indianapolis; three sisters, Deirdre L. Palmer of Indianapolis, Christy M. Courtney of Indianapolis and Kelli A. Robinson of Greenwood; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Dana was preceded in death by her mother, Betty L. (McMahan) Palmer Urban; and her father, Richard C. Palmer. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
