Dale L. Martin

Dale L Martin, 84, of Anderson, passed away December 3, 2025, at his residence following an extended illness.

He was born on February 11, 1941, in Springfield, Ohio to William "Abe" Martin and Helen (Aikin) Martin. Dale graduated from Winchester High School in 1960. He then served his country proudly in the United States Army National Guard. 

He was a member of Bethany Christian Church. He loved antiques, auto racing, and sports, including the Indianapolis Colts, Pacers, and the Cincinnati Reds. He also enjoyed his time with his family in whom he dearly loved. 

Dale is survived by his wife, Mary Martin of Anderson; children, Jay (Judy) Martin of UT, Jill (Kip) Golden of Ingalls, Jeff Martin of Anderson and Jerry (Dianna) Martin of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren, Jerrica, Janaye, Jennifer, Josh, Jana, Bryan, Lex, and Madelynn; sixteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Patty Matthieu. 

A private committal of cremated remains will be held at East Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson at a later date.
