Cynthia "Cindy" Roberts

Cynthia "Cindy" (Wolski) Roberts, 69, of Wilkinson, passed away peacefully at her home on August 4, 2026.

Cindy was born to the late Richard and Carolyn Wolski and was a proud graduate of Eastern Hancock High School. She dedicated her career to serving the citizens of Hancock County through the Hancock County Assessor's Office, where she faithfully served for many years. Her commitment to public service ultimately led to her appointment as Hancock County Assessor, a role she held with integrity, compassion, and dedication.

Above all else, Cindy treasured her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother whose greatest joy came from spending time with those she loved. Her kindness, unwavering support, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She attended both Willow Branch United Methodist Church and Shirley-Wilkinson Community United Methodist Church, where her faith remained an important part of her life.

Cindy is survived by her beloved husband, Charles Roberts; her son, Evan (Brittany) Roberts; her daughter, Terri (Dave) McCune; her cherished grandchildren, Joshua McCune, Garrison McCune, Madison (Clayton) Reno, Brantley Roberts, Scarlett Roberts, Levi Roberts, and Elsie Roberts; her sisters, Brenda Wolski and Karen (Jim) Rash; and her sister-in-law, Kristi Wolski, along with many extended family members and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Steve Wolski.

Cindy's legacy of service, love, and devotion to her family and community will live on in the countless lives she touched.

Cindy's visitation will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Willow Branch United Methodist Church, 6244 N Thomas St, Willow Branch, IN 46186. The funeral ceremony will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the church. She will be laid to rest in McCray Cemetery following the funeral.
