Christopher G. Hopkins

Christopher G. Hopkins, 55, of Anderson, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson following an extended illness.

He was born October 3, 1968, in Noblesville, Indiana, to Loley B. and Jessie M. (Willingham) Hopkins.

He was a 1987 graduate of Lapel High School. He was a fork truck operator in a warehouse.

He was an avid gun enthusiast. He loved music. His favorite local band was the Boggy Branch Band. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.

Christopher is survived by his wife, Paulette (Barrett) Hopkins; two children, Kelsey (Michael) Brooks; her mother, Amy Barker and Cassidy Hopkins; her mother, Kim Hopkins; a stepdaughter, Shelby Brown (Jaylen Smith); one sister, Hilda Hopkins; a sister-in-law, Terri Hopkins; a brother-in-law, Ronald (Myra) West; one niece, Nicole Hopkins; two nephews, Justin Hopkins and Daniel Hopkins; a mother figure, Marilyn Barker (also known as Nana); and a special best friend, Justin (Michaella) Witcher. He is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Mark Hopkins.

Cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Bozell Funeral Home, Lapel Chapel, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
