Cheryl “Cheri” Arnold

April 8, 1957 — February 14, 2017

Cheryl “Cheri” Arnold, 59, of Anderson, passed away February 14, 2017 at Community Hospital North. Cheri was born April 8, 1957, in Anderson, the daughter of Clarence and Alta (Coffman) Crawford. She has been a lifelong Anderson resident and has worked at Community Hospital Anderson for over 35 years, currently serving as an administrative secretary. Cheri was the consummate mother, she loved her family and delighted in spoiling her grandchildren, and great nieces and nephews. Her heart of gold was also demonstrated by the hours she volunteered for various causes and organizations. She collected “Gone with the Wind” memorabilia, traveled with her husband to the beach, attending shows, especially John Mellencamp concerts. She is survived by her husband, Bob Arnold; mother, Alta Crawford; children, Sarah Walden, Debby (Justin) Denman, Nicholas (Stacie) Arnold, and Bobby Arnold; grandchildren, Wyatt Arnold, Felix Sereicikas, and Lexi Faulstich; brother, R. Donald (Karen) Crawford; aunt, Judy Perry; niece and nephews, Kris, Kerry, and Roark; and other cousins, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded by her dad, Clarence Crawford; an aunt, Anna Adams. The family is grateful for the excellent care that Cheri received from CHA and CHN. Services will be 6 p.m. Sunday, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory Kent Stookey officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Anderson Memorial Park. Visitation will 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation or the Community Hospital Foundation.
